I picked up two machines from him and they both looked and ran beautiful, with two exceptions. The a-bars were half an inch too short and the contact screws send brass slivers flying when the machine is running. I bought these from a friend who admitted to me later that those were the reasons he gave them to me for such a discount.
I like his work so I was just wondering if this was indicitive of all his machines or just a fluke.
Has anybody here used any of Rick Saveria's Machines?

i was wondering the same thing??????????????????????????
I have a couple, no issues. Beautiful Craftsmanship, and ran very well with zero adjustment straight out of the shipping box- which blew me away. I'm surprised to hear about your issues- did youbench run the machines for a few hours?
I didn't, but that might work out the kinks.
If you check out his stuff on EBAY you could read over 100 really good comments on the machines.
Yeah- I kinda figured a good feedback record was a good sign. I have two of his machines and have an issue with both of them. I have sent multiple emails, several messages through myspace and have been calling no less than twice a day for two weeks now- and have not recieved one reply.
If I could reverse my feedback I would- pretty pissed!!!
I know this an old thread, but figured I'd chime in anyways. I have owned 2 of his machines, a side by side coil, reverse spring color machine, and a standard liner. i sold the liner because I didn't love it. I used it and it was fine, just didn't really need it when I had 3 other machines that did the same thing, just as well or better. the side by side is another story. I run 13-21 mags with it effortlessly at 4.5v. It's super punchy and slow. I've had it since 2006 and can't imagine working without it now. Never had a single problem except finding pre-cut front springs for it, which forced me to buy a punch and start cutting my own. Not sure if I consider that a problem though. In fact, this is the first complaint I've ever heard about his machines.
I've had a saverias micro liner, one of a kind for about five years now, love it! Daily driver. Too bad he's only doing mass production these days, plus price point is a bit higher than what I payed years ago. I still intend on buying from him again. I'd say bad experiences with his brand should be very rare, considering the quality of product I own.
